What's Chef Vanda Up To?Saturday
February 11 2006 Chef Vanda demonstrates the new line of William Sonoma Finishing Salts at the Roosevelt Field Mall. The shoppers at William Sonoma were treated to new flavors as Chef Vanda answered questions and shared tips on using exotic finishing salts. The February 11 menu consisted of Iberian Double-Roasted Potatoes, a vegetable Cru-de-tet, Roasted Almonds, and a Chardonnay Bake Salmon.

Sunday January 28, 2006 Chef Vanda is featured in an informative article in the Sunday New York Times. The article written by Marcelle Fischler focuses on convenience and affordability. Today's busy families are short on time and find personal chefs as the perfect solution for healthier lifestyles. _________________________________________
Thursday January 19 2006 Chef Vanda is interviewed for the Long Island edition of the Sunday New York Times. The reporter and photographer followed Chef Vanda for a day of cooking at a clients home. After lots of questions and pictures, they gathered around the table and enjoyed one of Chef Vanda's creations. For the full story, pick up the January 29 edition of the Sunday New York Times. _________________________________________ Chef Vanda provides cooking demonstrations at the Inwood Greenmarket on 204th and Ishum St. from 10 am to 2 pm. The crisp autumn day will bring many pedestrians seeking fresh produce. Chef Vanda has three cooking demonstrations planned through out the early day.
The menu for Saturday includes new recipes using the season's harvest featuring apples and pumpkins (just in time for the holidays). Look for Chef Vanda at the Union Square Green Market in the spring of 2006 for cooking demonstrations, advice and general cooking information.
