Shilloh Personal Chef Services specializes in Special Diet Preparations.

Chef Vanda makes it very easy by customizing and preparing a variety of dishes according to your likes, dislikes and special needs. We are all unique and no diet works for everyone. Our goal is to make each meal the very best you have ever tasted!

If needed, Chef Vanda will work closely with your doctor and nutritionist to prepare foods according to your special dietary needs.

Food Allergies and Intolerances

True food allergies come in various forms. It can be a slight case such as a headaches or a rash to a certain product to some causing severe reactions, including death. The most common individual food allergies include those to peanuts, tree nuts (walnuts, pecans etc), fish, shellfish, eggs, milk, soy, corn, wheat milk and Lactose intolerant (dairy free). During your initial consultation, we will fill out a detailed questionnaire. Chef Vanda then will customize a menu plan according to your specific diet needs.

Wheat-free / Gluten-free

A gluten-free diet means avoiding all products that contain wheat, rye and barley, or any of their derivatives. This is a very difficult task as there are many hidden sources of gluten found in the ingredients of many processed foods.

Dairy free and Lactose Intolerant

Lactose intolerant is the bodies inability to process milk sugars. Chef Vanda will create your favorite dishes without the use of milk or milk by-products.

Weight-loss and Maintenance 

Atkins, South Beach, Low Fat / High Fiber - Chef Vanda will create a suggested menu based on your input from client questionnaire. From then on all you have to do is sit back and chef Vanda will take care of the rest. No calorie counting, no weighing and measuring, you won't have to deal with complicated recipes or long hours preparing bland flavorless food, just enjoy a tasty wholesome meal.

Vegetarian, Vegan and Semi-Vegetarian

Whether you are a new vegetarian or a seasoned vegan, your tastebuds will tingle with every bite. Each meal is prepared with your specific taste in mind, if you like onions but no green peppers then your dish will have onions and no peppers.

Beginning vegetarians will have no problem acclimating to not having meat in your diet as you explore new flavors and textures not bland, flavorless foods.

Lacto-ovo vegetarians eat dairy foods and eggs as well as plant foods. Your ready to heat meals will not contain meat, poultry or fish.  

Ovo-vegetarians eat only eggs and plant foods. There will be no dairy foods, meats, poultry or fish in your meals.

Lacto-vegetarian eats dairy foods and plant foods. Your custom menu will contain no eggs, meat, poultry or fish.

Vegans or strict vegetarians eat only plant foods and products. The term vegan generally refers to individuals who share a philosophy and lifestyle as well as a restricted diet. Chef Vanda will prepare your food with no animal foods, eggs or dairy products

When can you start ?

Once you have approved your menu, we will schedule a day to cook in your home. We will shop for the groceries needed for the meals on your menu. We select the freshest vegetables (organic when available) for your meals. If at all possible, we will use produce that was harvested that day. We arrive with all of the utensils we need to complete your meals. We cook the food in your home, then package and refrigerate or freeze each item, and leave thawing and reheating instructions. By following these instructions, your meals will taste like they were just prepared! We leave your kitchen clean and home smelling wonderful. You simply reheat the meals and enjoy the free time, the clean kitchen, and the fabulous food.
