Chicago Food Planet's Food Tasting and Cultural Walking Tours - Our guide Todd, gave us a narrated walking tour through hidden parks, the old Playboy Mansion, Old Town and Lincoln Park.
We sampled Chicago's cuisine at one of a kind specialty food shops like the Fudge Pot (Old World Candy), O'Fame (thin crust pizza)
We were brought downstairs to the backyard garden for an unscheduled treat, an in-depth lesson with Spice House owner, Tom Erd. Tom usually doesn't get the opportunity to give one of these. We were given a history lesson on black pepper, peppercorn and cinnamon. Watch The Video >>>
A great combination of food tasting, Chicago history, architecture and local flavor. We really got a chance to get more of a flavor of Chicago.

It was an informative gentle walk through Chicago's Old Town uncommon neighborhoods.
No trip to Chicago is complete without eating an authentic Chicago Hot Dog. A grilled hot dog smothered with caramelized onions, bright green relish, mustard, hot peppers on a poppy seeded bun. A unique gastronomic experience.
John Hancock Building - Instead of paying the $10 for the Observation Deck (two floors below), we re-invested the $10 in a cold beverage at the Signature lounge. The views were amazing and we could sit comfortably.
